Welcome to Splintermail.com! Splintermail LLC ("Splintermail") is a provider of various Internet-based services ("Services"), including, but not limited to, e-mail. Acceptance of the following terms of service ("Terms") is a prerequisite for you to use any Splintermail Service.
Availability of Services:
Splintermail works in good faith to maximize the general awesomeness of our Services. However, Splintermail makes no guarantees as to the availability, timeliness, security, reliability, or awesomeness of its Services.
Abuse
The reputation of any email service is important to all users of that service, so it is important you do not abuse our service. Specifically, you agree to not use our service to do anything illegal, immoral, or malicious. You also agree not to send, store, or solicit any content that could be classified as such. Finally, you agree to never send unsolicited or unwanted messages (i.e., spam).

Age Restriction
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Splintermail Services. Your own jurisdiction may impose a higher age restriction, in which case that limit applies.
Content
Splintermail is an email provider, not a content filter. Splintermail works in good faith to reduce the volume of harmful content delivered through our service via standard spam filtering tools. However, content delivered via Splintermail Services remains the sole responsibility of the sender, and Splintermail accepts no liability for any third-party content delivered through any of our Services.
Indemnity
When you use any of our Services you agree to use it AS IS, and to indemnify and hold harmless Splintermail, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, employees, and partners from any claim resulting from your use of our Services.
Violation of these Terms
Splintermail reserves the right to terminate any account or remove any content believed to be in violation of these Terms without warning or refund for the user.
